We recently had a munch and learn session where I went through the Rust WNFS codebase. This project is the beginning of an effort towards creating a unified, efficient and portable implementation of the next version of WNFS that has immutability at its very core.
You can already use the public filesystem of Rust WNFS today and there is currently exciting work going on to get the private filesystem to the finish line. You can learn more about it here.
