I’m pleased to announce the inaugural IPFS operators group meeting - Tuesday, July 6, 2021 6:00 PM. Apologies to both EU and Asia-based community for the timing, one of the agenda items will be planning future meeting times and cadence.
Other items on the agenda include:
- discussing and codifying best practices for operating IPFS nodes
- handling DMCA / compliance issues as more and more folks adopt IPFS.
- best practices for operating IPFS gateways to other protocols like http.
I am pleased to note that confirmed attendees for this kickoff meeting include representatives from Protocol Labs, Fission, Pinata, Infura, Textile and Gateway.fm. Apologies if I missed someone!
We hope that as IPFS becomes more widely adopted the group will grow and prove to be a valuable space in which different organizations can collaborate and improve IPFS over time.
