Malicious content and operating IPFS gateways

Fission’s IPFS gateway and publishing services has two things enabled around blocking content that is flagged for DMCA or phishing.

  1. our gateway only serves our users’ content, so we have NoFetch enabled on our gateway

  2. for bad actors on our system, we don’t have anything proactive (yet), but when we receive a report of a bad CID, we just filter that CID on our load balancer
