ZuriHac is the biggest Haskell Hackathon in the world: a completely free , three-day grassroots coding festival organized by Zürich Friends of Haskell. It features fantastic keynotes, interesting tracks, and of course lots of hacking and socializing!
Unfortunately, this year the event is going fully virtual and online. Fortunately, this means lots more people around the world can potentially participate!
Instead of canceling, we will organize ZuriHac 2020 as an online event. We are still working out the details, and will update our website and send out announcements once we know more.
Our goal is to take the “community spirit” of ZuriHac online. What can you expect at the very least?
- Talks and courses over live streaming
- Working on projects together
- Hanging out with groups of other Haskellers in voice/video chat
ZuriHac 2020 takes place Friday 12 June to Sunday 14 June.
We’ll get the word out “locally” here in Vancouver, and will figure out what we’re going to hack on. Leave a comment if you want to join us!
